Last updated: 25 September 2026

About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Live Khaata app and website, operated by Live Khaata, a sole proprietorship (GSTIN 09IASPK2450N1ZW), Agra, Uttar Pradesh. By buying or using Live Khaata, you agree to these terms.

The lifetime licence

The lifetime licence is a one-time purchase that allows one business to use Live Khaata on one registered mobile number, on up to two devices. “Lifetime” means for as long as Live Khaata operates the service. The licence does not include the source code and may not be resold or transferred without our written consent.

Quarterly plan

The quarterly plan is purchased through Google Play. Its billing, renewal and cancellation are governed by Google Play’s terms.

Fair use

Bill scans are limited to 200 per day per account. Automated or bulk use that affects the service may be restricted.

Your responsibilities

Keep your phone, OTP and PIN secure. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records: details read from bill photos or voice entries must be reviewed before being used in any filing. Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Not professional advice

Live Khaata is a record-keeping tool. It does not file returns and does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice. Please consult your Chartered Accountant.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn. Entries made offline are saved once you are connected.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Indian Rupees; GST is charged as shown at checkout. Website payments are processed by Razorpay, and quarterly plans by Google Play. Our agents never collect cash. Price changes do not affect licences already purchased.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including penalties arising from records that were not verified.

Suspension and closure

We may suspend accounts involved in misuse, fraud or non-payment. You may delete your account at any time from the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Agra, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. For questions, see the Contact Us page.
